Data Collection & Management

Agency responsible for collecting data: Motor Vehicle Division & Courts
Overview of Data Management: Interlock data: The reports of each customer from install to removal. This includes Installs, Accuracy Checks, Compliance checks, and violations. It does include the date and time of each type of report but does not include items such as the GPS of the device or the photo that was taken. Photos are uploaded to the manufacturer website and this information is held by the manufacturer.Arrest data: We do not collect this. (if submitted from Law Enforcement, we do capture the admin Per Se into our Record's management group).Conviction data: We do not collect this. (if submitted from Law Enforcement, we do capture the admin Per Se into our Record's management group).
Barriers to data collection: Barriers include the customers understanding of who is requiring the data (MVD/Courts/other states/etc.) This is because if incorrect information is provided to the manufacturer regarding who is requiring the data, the reports may be sent to the wrong location and not received by the requiring agency.
