Data Collection & Management

Agency responsible for collecting data: Department of Revenue
Overview of Data Management: We receive notice of installations, removals, and failure to maintain. If DOR wants to review the data, they must log into the vendor online portal. Since they own all the data, DOR is limited in what they can do with it. Driver Licensing stores all data that is sent from the vendors. DOR can request it through the IT department, but reports are usually done randomly.
Barriers to data collection: DOR does not own the data, the vendor owns the data.
